Ayako is a character briefly mentioned in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and is featured heavily in the short story Kakusareta Ibutsu To, Kakushita Otoko. She is Hallelujah's mother.

Profile

Ayako is Hallelujah's mother and takes care of him for the first 10 years of his life. She works hard to provide for him and make sure the two of them can be safe and secure. However, the stress of living in a Firmament-covered Tokyo takes a heavy toll on her mental health; she is easily irritated especially at the smallest slights, which sometimes leads to her lashing out at Hallelujah. When in doubt, she reassures herself by asking herself what her Angel would think is best. She holds an intense affection for him, despite him leaving her and Hallelujah behind to fend for themselves.

Although her physical appearance is not explicitly described in detail, she notes that Hallelujah looks just like her.[1]
