Template:Stub

Purpose

Maintenance template used to mark a page as a stub, an incomplete page in need of expansion, and add it to Category:Stubs.

By using the series= and/or type= named parameters, the template can sort the page into more specific stub categories. The Series parameter must be specified with the series's established abbreviation and the Type parameter with the appropriate page type. For instance, typing {{Stub|series=DeSum|type=Character}} will specify that a character page related to the Devil Summoner series is a stub and add it to the relevant categories.

A reason for why a page is a stub and what can be done to improve it can also be given by adding reason= as the last named parameter.

For marking sections as stubs, use Template:Sectionstub.

Usage

Parameter	Description
series	Adds the page to a (Series) Stubs category by specifying the series's established abbreviation.
type	Adds the page to a (Page Type) Stubs category by specifying one of the available page types: attribute, book, character, demon, drama, game, item, list, location, manga, mechanics, movie, novel, ova, person, race, series, skill, soundtrack, tv.
reason	Enables a reason to be given for why the page is a stub and what is needed to improve it.
