| Parameter | Explanation |

| imagemap | Maps, if they exist, of the location as it appears in-game. Utilizes Template:Media.

| names | Any alternate names or spellings of the location. If the name differs across media, indicate using Template:Exp App.
Because spoilers should be avoided in the infobox, this parameter is subject to some scrutiny. Names of alternate forms of the location should preferably be avoided, especially if those forms have their own soft redirect page. |
| location | The linked location where the area is located at, if applicable. For example: if the page is about a building or dungeon, list the immediate location it is in.

| subarea | Links to any other named locations that are located within that area, if applicable. For example: towns in a region, city districts, important buildings in a district, etc.
