- In the subquest "Classified Counter", a Bethel Researcher requests the Nahobino to deliver some classified files, citing that the reason it isn't delivered via computer is because demons can easily access it with the name "Atzulith" being dropped. User:Herekit (talk) 09:32, 20 Feb 2025 (AEST)
- Are they saying the demons access it from the Atzulith? Because if so that sounds to me like they're just giving Da'at another name, like how Da'at was called the Netherworld for a bit. As Atzulith is the name of the Makai in other games as well, I think it should just be mentioned that they use Atzulith as an alternate name. - Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Official Perfect Guide states that Da'at is part of the abyss that separates Atziluth from the lower layers (浄増寺に出現した邪神ラフムが久方ぶり、 と発した言葉。 魔界に対しての現世と解釈してよいと思われる。 神秘主義、 いわゆるオカルトの土壌において四世界と呼ばれるものの一つにその名がある。 すなわち十のセフィラから成る生命の樹(セフィロト)における世界創造の神の世界・アツィルト、神に仕える大天使が支配し、 個 (=他)が生まれる世界 ブリアー。 天使が支配する魂と現象の世界 イェツィラー。 そして、 肉体と感情・人間と悪魔が置かれた世界 アッシャーである。これらはつながっているようでいて、 アツィルトとそれ以下のレイヤーでは絶対の隔絶がある。その隔絶は深淵 (アビス) とよばれ、隠されまた不可視のセフィラ・ダアトがあるとされる。[p. 523]), but technically it's arguable that it's referring to the mysticism that inspired SMT5 rather than literally explaining it's in-universe metaphysics. It might help if we had quotes from the other media that mentions Atziluth.
