Snipe Skill

As far as I can tell this skill is just the same as Snipe. It might be wise to merge them under the Snipe page, and just have Gun Boost and Snipe have a Template:Confuse, Template:About, Template:For, or other header linking to each other. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluehax6 (talk) {{{2}}}

I would have rather you waited for someone to respond before already merging them. So to explain myself here, when I made these pages I did not know about Devil Survivor 2 having a different localized name for Neraiuchi, and I added that later after being informed of it. So initially I thought there was no naming overlap.
However, even after having the Devil Survivor 2 Snipe on Aim (Neraiuchi), I still kept them separate because I want Aim as the page title for the skill for a couple reasons. The first is that Aim is the most recent localization for Neraiuchi (discounting Record Breaker as a re-release). The second is that the skill page having Snipe as the primary name is not congruent with what my plan was for the Neraiuchi skill, which was to have it be called Aim for unlocalized games following Soul Hackers' name for it. Yes Aim and Snipe are both Gun skills that attack 1 enemy, but I just would rather keep them separate because I believe it just works better when accounting for the greater picture. I think the pages should be split how they were too, as although they have similar effects, they're different in name in both Japanese and English, and will make navigation easier (at least in my opinion). That and the fact that the redirects still exist, and how the nomenclature sections and categories on both pages are a bit messed up right now. -Effect-kun (talk) 08:31, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
