Spirit Chains

Spirit Chains is a status effect in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2.

Overview

Spirit Chains are special status effects that apply unique effects to their target. Each type of Spirit Chain has its own effect and count value. The effect remains active while the count is above 0 and is removed when the count reaches 0.

Skills such as Prayer, which remove status ailments, cannot remove Spirit Chains. Likewise, effects that prevent status ailments, such as Barrier, do not protect against Spirit Chains.

Types

There are currently six types of Spirit Chains, each with its own unique effect:

• Indignation
• Corrosion
• Intimidation
• Suppression
• Salvation
• Nothingness

New types of Spirit Chains may be introduced as the game continues to receive updates.
