 He is a blank slate and silent protagonist, having very little characterization in-game. He has no dialogue options outside of the choices that directly affect the endings, what party members join the quest, and the moral choices that determine if he recieves the [[Ultimate Persona]] totems in the SEBEC route. This is was a deliberate choice to allow the players to insert themselves into the story. If the protagonist makes the correct moral choices to get the best ending and gain ultimate Personas, the protagonist is portrayed as compassionate and clever, as well as confident and blunt, though laidback, notably through his Other Self.
