Satanael: Difference between revisions

Satanael is an archangel mentioned in [[wikipedia:2_Enoch|Slavonic Enoch]], a text most notably used by the Bogomils, a neo-Gnostic sect in medieval Bulgaria. According to this text, Satanael led the fallen angels to rebel against God; because of his role in this variation, some believe it is the name of Satan before he was cast out of Heaven by God and is considered an interpretation of [[Lucifer]].
