The Shomonkai are a doomsday cult in Devil Survivor. The group was founded by Kuzuryu, with Amane Kuzuryu being another chief figure as their maiden.

The Shomonkai believe that the power of technology—specifically the Internet—has allowed humanity to surpass the communication barrier imposed on them by God after the destruction of the Tower of Babel. As this shows man's arrogance and goes against God's will, He will soon send an Ordeal that humanity must overcome. Through the use of demons, the Shomonkai aim to overcome this ordeal.
