The Hope is an Arcana in Persona 5 Strikers. It is an unnumbered card.
Profile
Unlike the other Major Arcana, the Hope Arcana is not a traditional Arcana and originates from the Cary-Yale deck of the Visconti-Sforza Tarot. Hope is one of the three theological virtues in Catholic thought along with Faith and Charity, and all three were included in the original deck. This is also the source of the Faith Arcana in Persona 5 Royal.
The only Persona to be of the Hope Arcana is Pandora, likely owing to the mythological Pandora's link to hope; in the story of Pandora, after she opened the jar (pithos) which unleashed the evils of the world, she closed it with hope being the only thing left in her jar. As Pandora proclaims to Sophia upon awakening, "Dare you unleash catastrophe upon this world? Can you cling to the paltry hope that remains?"

Similar to the Apostle Arcana, which also debuts in Persona 5 Strikers, the Hope Arcana is only used to represent a new character, and label the Arcana of their Persona (in this case, Sophia and Pandora). It does not have a card graphic due to the lack of a Confidant/Social Link system, and there are no Personas with the Arcana obtainable by the protagonist.
Sophia initially battles using Pithos, which mimics a Persona but is not actually one. Sophia and Pithos do not have any Arcana associated with them, merely being labeled with "---" in its place. All skills cast by Pithos also have a question mark at the end, e.g. "Rakunda?"
However, upon realizing that the human heart relies upon hope to change for the better, and her desire to have a "heart" of her own, Sophia awakens to her true Persona, Pandora, and acquires the Hope Arcana. Both Sophia and Pandora will now be labeled with Hope in the game menus, and Pandora's skills no longer have question marks.
Trivia
- In the Minchiate deck of 97 playing cards, Hope has the number XVI16, which shares a number with the Tower Arcana.
