Availability
Kawakami may be contacted through the pay phone at Leblanc in the evening.
Two days after the Phantom Thieves steal Madarame's treasure, Ryuji will tell Ren about a maid service that he had heard about; Mishima will overhear them and insist on joining them. Speaking to Mishima on any evening after that will begin "Operation Maidwatch," where Ren will learn that Kawakami is working as a maid.
On the next day that class is in session, after school, Ren may speak to Kawakami in the hallway near the teacher's lounge to receive her phone number. On any evening after that, if his Guts stat is at least rank 3 (Staunch), he may use the pay phone in Leblanc and pay 5,000 yen to unlock Kawakami's confidant.
After her Confidant is unlocked, Ren must pay 5,000 yen to see her for a Confidant rankup or hangout on the following days:
May: 27 and 28
June: 3, 4, 10, 15, 17, 24, 25, and 29
July: 1, 6, 8, 9, 19, 27, 29, and 30
August: 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27
September: 2, 3, 21, 23, 24, 28, and 30
October: 1, 5, 7, 8, 14, 15, and 22
November: 2, 4, 5, 11, 12, 16, 25, 26, and 30
December: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17,19, and 22
January: 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, and 28
February: 1
Rank 8 of her Confidant will unlock the request "A Teacher Maid to Suffer." To unlock rank 9 of her Confidant, the Phantom Thieves must venture into Mementos and complete this request.
After her Confidant reaches rank 9, she will be noticeably more energetic on the next day that school is in session, and she will be available for rank 10 on any evening after that. However, there must be a school day between rank 9 and rank 10.
After unlocking rank 9 rankups, hangouts and maid services are free.
