Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army Complete Music Works is the soundtrack album to the 2006 game Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army, featuring music composed and arranged by Shoji Meguro.
Release
The two disc, 33 track album was released in Japan on April 7, 2006, published by 5pb Inc. and distributed by Geneon Entertainment. Alongside the discs, the album came with a six page booklet featuring a short essay by Megami Tensei series writer Kanako Abe.
Despite the title claiming the soundtrack to be "complete," several tracks from the game were not included in the album. Four of the missing tracks can be found in Devil Summoner Sound Collection - Hyper Rearrange Collection, a compilation album for songs in the Devil Summoner series.
Reception
Though the album did not chart upon release, gaming journalists generally praised the soundtrack. Ray Barnholt of 1up and Chris Oder of GameRankings both praised the music as "fun" and "a great aural experience," applauding the jazzy compositions and stating that they perfectly fit the Taisho-era setting,[1][2] while IGN UK's Rob Burman criticized it as "forgettable."[3]
