Demon Scanner is an AR gameplay mode in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2. The player scans objects in the real world with their camera to summon demons who appear on screen. The player then Talks to the demon to please their demands and level up. Items called Offerings can be given during Demon Talk to improve chances of success. The item scanned to summon influences which demon appears, for example, a Cat summons Nekomata
