Ceto, also known as Cetus, is a major antagonist in Persona 5: The Phantom X.

Origin

Ceto is a goddess in Hesiod's Theogony who is said to be a child of Gaia (earth) and Pontus (sea), and with her brother Phorcys she is the mother of the Graeae and the Gorgons.

Cetus is a Greek word for "sea monster" or "whale"; this word comes from the same root as the name of Ceto. Notably, Perseus was said to have slain a cetus to save the Aethiopian princess Andromeda.
