This category is for demons whose depiction in the Megami Tensei franchise is based on their depiction in Theosophy, a movement founded by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky which incorporates elements and figures from several sources.
While closely resembling a religion, Blavatsky rejected referring to it as such, and Theosophists generally follow her in this.
