When first met at the Hikawa shrine, he will lament about his inability to do anything but pray about the pain that the demon Moloch has inflicted on people. He briefly wonders if perhaps the Protagonist could be the one to defeat him, but then dismisses the thought and tells him to forget that he ever said it.
After Moloch has been defeated, the Protagonist can return to the Hikawa shrine and tell the priest the good news, and as thanks, recieve the Palace ring from him, which can then be taken to Izanami in stage 19.
