Zelenin is a character in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. She is a Russian scientist serving as the first lieutenant aboard the Elve sent to investigate the Schwarzwelt, and wishes to expose the truth of it to the public who is unaware of its true nature.
Profile
Zelenin is a professional and observant woman of science, though she can come off as rather reserved and distant. After coming into contact with demons and experiencing their cruelty, she becomes deathly afraid and untrusting of them, unwilling to even use the Demon Summoning Program, though she grows to trust Mastema and the angels. She normally wishes to see conflicts resolve with as little violence as possible, and this paired with her reserved nature leads to her to get into constant quarrels with Jimenez, though she is on good terms with the rest of the Red Sprite crew, especially with the Protagonist whose assistance she frequently requests.
She has shoulder-length blonde hair and like the rest of the crew, she wears a Demonica, which is equipped with a firearm, though she never uses it.

Zelenin's angelic form, given the power of song from Mastema. At first, she took the power to peacefully end the struggle with Jack's Squad; however, the power of song was too powerful for a human to harness. Driven by doubt of the methods of the Investigation team, Zelenin strives to save humanity through the guidance of God, brought by her newfound powers. Pillar Zelenin, now ascended from her human form to become the holy pillar to represent her new world. Her song will echo through the new world, enchanting all who listens. Those who follow shall be given peace; those who oppose shall be punished.
