Gouto-douji is a character in the Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha sub-series. He is a black cat that acts as the partner of Raidou Kuzunoha XIV.

Design-wise, Gouto looks like a small black cat with bright green eyes. While not shown in his artwork, he wears a grey collar in which he carries a small notebook and pen.
Gameplay
Gouto does not participate in combat, instead acting as Raidou's guide and mentor.
Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army
If Raidou uses a Foxtail when Gouto is with him, Gouto will remind him that he is not actually a cat. If Raidou keeps using foxtails up to a total of 9 times, Gouto will eventually give him a Bead of Life, a Great Chakra, and a Soma.
Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon
In King Abaddon, Gouto will make entries into the Detective's Notebook, providing summaries of the information he and Raidou have learned about their investigations.
Similar to in the first game, after using foxtails 9 times Gouto will give Raidou a Soma.

Gouto first appears in the beginning of the game in the Kuzunoha Training Hall after Raidou has completed his trial and been given the title of Raidou Kuzunoha XIV. After being given the duty of protecting The Capital, Gouto-doji is assigned as Raidou's partner. Gouto is skeptical of Raidou's capabilities, and complains that the Raidou name used to command respect.
