Nyogo is a recurring type of Shadow in the Persona series.
Profile
Nyogos were introduced in Persona 4. They appear as trees dressed in ornate kimonos. Their top branches and kimonos have leaves and flowers, similar to how the Rider-Waite Strength card has flowers and greenery. Their masks have "XI" written on them to signify their connection to the Strength Arcana. They are named after a rank for court lady or consort and became Shadows due to period drama watchers tuning into the Midnight Channel.[1]
