Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II is a 1990 role-playing game for the Famicom, and the second entry in Atlus's Template:Serieslink. It was developed by Atlus, published by Namcot, and released on April 6, 1990. It is a sequel to Atlus's 1987 Famicom game Template:Gamelink, which was adapted from Aya Nishitani's novel of the same name. Although a follow-up to and inspired by Nishitani's series of novels, Megami Tensei II is an original creation and not based on any previous works.
