Purpose

Stat table template used to document the stats of enemy Demons in Megami Ibunroku Persona and Persona for the PlayStation Portable. Stat table also supports the Revelations: Persona localization with dedicated parameters.

For the stats of Personas, use Template:MIP Persona Stats instead.

Usage

Stat tables are used in the Gameplay section on subject pages, or in their respective Gameplay page if available. It can be used with tabs to catalog different stat tables of the subject. Refer to the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on using stat tables and tabs.

Certain columns in the stat table will automatically output certain information depending on the data entered in other columns. For example: The Order entered in order= will automatically fill in the appropriate data in the "Class" column.

Parameter Notes
img
Optional; not used when parameter is omitted. By default, the template will automatically add the Demon's sprite as [[File:MIP {{{PAGENAME}}} Sprite.png]]. The img= parameter inputs a different subject name to call the sprite from. This should be used if the Demon's in-game name differs from the article title, or if the title has a discriminator in it.

If the stat table is to be transcluded onto another page, then the img and name parameters must be used.
name, rpname
Optional; not used when parameter is omitted. By default, the template will automatically render the Demon's name the same as the article name. Use the name parameter if the Demon's name differs in-game or if the article title has a discriminator in it.

The name used in the PlayStation Portable version should be prioritized in the stat table. If the Demon has a different name in the localization of Revelations: Persona, the rpname parameter can be used to display this separately. Otherwise, if the name is identical between both versions, do not use this parameter.

If the stat table is to be transcluded onto another page, then the img and name parameters must be used.
location
Optional; does not display when parameter is omitted. Displays where the Demon can be encountered. See the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on listing locations.
order
Displays and automatically links to the Demon's Order by name.

The entered Order will also determine which Class is displayed in the stat table.
recruit
Used to render a checkmark or X for whether the Demon can be recruited through Negotiation. Add y for yes or n for no.</nowiki>.
personality
Optional; does not display when parameter is omitted. Displays the Demon's Personality. This parameter should be omitted if the Demon cannot be Negotiated with.
gender
Optional; does not display when parameter is omitted. Displays the Demon's Gender, which is factored in Negotiation. This parameter should be omitted if the Demon cannot be Negotiated with.
drop, dropsymbol
Displays the Demon's potential item drop. The dropsymbol parameter displays the item's rarity symbol by the code entered. The following codes will generate these symbols:
circle2 = ◎ (most common)
circle1 = ○ (common)
triangle = △ (less common)
X = ✕ (least common)
personatalk
Optional; does not display when parameter is omitted. Persona Talk is an event where, if a party member is equipped with a compatible Persona, that Persona will speak with the Demon when attempting to Negotiate. If the Demon has a Persona Talk event, link to the name of the Persona(s) that initiates it (using the name from the PlayStation Portable version).
resist
In both Megami Ibunroku Persona and the PlayStation Portable version, Personas and Demons do not have unique resistances but instead a resistance type. The game has 55 types. The resist= parameter requires only the resistance spread's ID number used by the Demon, which will automatically display the associated type. This data is stored in Template:Data/Type/MIP. See the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on documenting resistances.
Basic attack
The element=, hit=, target=, and range= parameters display information about the Demon's basic attack. When an element is entered in the element= parameter, the stat table will automatically link to it. By default, the stat table will render the most common data: Fist element, 1 hit, 1 enemy, and Sword range. See the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on formatting basic attack information.
skills
Use Template:Skill to add skills. E.g. {{Skill|MIP|Agi|y}}. A skill can be marked as inheritable via Spell Card by adding a Y for yes or a N for no as the last parameter. This stat table will display the skill name, the name used in Revelations: Persona (if applicable), cost, range, description (if available for that skill), and inheritance.

Skill information is called from Module:Data/Skill/mip.
