Magatsuhi Skills are a mechanic introduced in Shin Megami Tensei V. They are unique skills that the Nahobino and demons may use by harnessing the power of Magatsuhi.
Gameplay
To use a Magatsuhi Skill, the player must first completely fill the Magatsuhi gauge, which can be done by performing various actions. Once the Magatsuhi gauge is full, the protagonist or one of his demons can unleash a Magatsuhi Skill. Magatsuhi Skills do not consume HP, MP, or Press Turn Icons, but will leave the Magatsuhi gauge completely empty after they are used.
During battle, enemies may spend their final action gathering Magatsuhi, which allows them to use a Magatsuhi Skill of their own once the next enemy turn begins.
The Magatsuhi gauge will remain at its current capacity when the player is outside of battle. While exploring Da'at, the Nahobino can collect red Magatsuhi crystals to refill the gauge.
