Purpose

Used to create tables for documenting skill mechanics in the Effect section on Skill Pages, using both a header template and multiple row templates. Template:SkillEfct/Header is placed at the top of the table, and the table must be closed by appending |} on the following line.

Usage

For fields that are not applicable to an iteration of the skill, omit the parameter from the template. This will add an em dash in its place.

Parameter Description
game The abbreviation of the game that the item information is from. This will automatically create a link.
attribute The elemental Attribute of the skill. This is integrated into the table to account for skills that change Attribute by game.
type The typing of the skill. Add "Physical" if a physical skill; "Magical" if a magic skill; "Status" if a skill that inflicts a status ailment, buff, or debuff; "Passive" if a passive skill.
effect The effect of the skill when used. This should be kept concise; lengthier explanations of skill mechanics should not go into the template but rather in a dedicated Mechanics subsection.
cost The skill's cost to use, where applicable. Format as x MP, x HP, etc.
powerlvl The power level description of the skill, if applicable. This reflects the listed in-game power scaling: Light / Weak, Moderate / Medium, Heavy, Severe, etc. If the skill has no such description, do not use this parameter.
target The target range of the skill, if applicable.
Enemies: Single enemy, Enemy group, All enemies, Random enemies.
Party: Single ally, Self, Party.
hit The number of hits the skill inflicts, if applicable. For multiple hits, format as 1-5.
basepower The skill's base power using hard numbers, if applicable.
crit The skill's critical rate.
acc The skill's accuracy.
battle Can the skill be used in battle? {{Y}} for yes, {{N}} for no.
outside Can the skill be used outside of battle? {{Y}} for yes, {{N}} for no.
