However, after Armageddon occurs and the [[Cosmic Egg]] is born, Toki is possessed and used as a vessel by Inanna, revealing that the goddess had not been completely destroyed and was biding her time to take over Toki's body. Inanna twists Toki's feelings for Nanashi to serve as motivation for resurrecting and empowering deceased demons, starting with Maitreya's revival and subsequent transformation into [[Mitra-Buddha]]. When the party finds Inanna and engages her in battle, Toki takes control back momentarily, where she admits to being jealous of Asahi's closeness <!-- (i want to use the word "intimacy" here but i worry for misinterpretation due to how often intimacy is associated with sexual love, despite it also covering for non-sexual love) --> to Nanashi and wishes she could have been in Asahi's position experiencing those things instead. But once Inanna is defeated, she seemingly forgets making this confession and how she called Nanashi "master".

<!-- (look into revising this; still unsure on how to interpret her whole deal with Mitra-Buddha) -->After defeating Mitra-Buddha and witnessing him cling to his strength, Toki realizes that the strength she desires is not one solely based on raw power, but rather to change and open up her heart. With this new resolve, she promises to stay by Nanashi's side, now without the underlying influence of Inanna affecting her outlook.

If Nanashi chooses to side with his friends and rejects Dagda's plans for him, Toki backs him up in the fight against Dagda alongside the rest of the party. Although the party parts way after defeating Krishna and rescuing Flynn, it reunites, Toki included, to do one last battle to slay [[YHVH]]. During the fight, she calls out YHVH on his shallow forgiveness and how it weakens people. Once YHVH is defeated and Tokyo and Mikado can rebuild, she is shown to have gone off on her own to cultivate her new definition of strength.

If Nanashi chooses to side with Dagda and abandon his humanity and friends, Toki stands against his decision, stating that she cannot follow his will as it clashes with her own desire to exist as a person. Before she dies, she reiterates her desire to stay by his side, but accepts death if it is by his hand.

If she is chosen to be the goddess, she repeats what she says prior to her death and becomes subservient to Nanashi.
