+Mitsuo Kubo is a high school student who attends an unnamed school. He enjoys video games, and it is implied he has no friends and overall low self-esteem. He used to be a student at Yasogami High School, but he was expelled due to [[Kinshiro Morooka]]. Like many in Inaba, he has a crush on [[Yukiko Amagi]], leading him to ask her out on the first day of school though he gets rejected like everyone else. After the murder case develops, he begins appearing in the [[Central Shopping District]], criticizing the police for taking so long to catch the murderer, and suggesting that Morooka is the murderer.
+After school starts, Mitsuo appears in casual wear, suggesting he may have started skipping school. His orange shirt has rows of "W", the Japanese equivalent of "lol".
