Profile
Genes were introduced in Persona 4. They appear as humanoid figures wearing masks with "X" on them to signify a relation to the Fortune arcana. The DNA helix design for the Genes was inspired by the Fortune arcana having meanings like rotation, spiral, and microcosm of the universe.[1]
