Availability

Munehisa is located at the model gun store on Central Street in Shibuya, where he sells weapons and armor and buys contraband.

After fencing Kamoshida's treasure on May 4, Ren may speak to Munehisa on any evening to unlock his Confidant, provided his Guts rank is at least 4 (Dauntless).

After Munehisa's Confidant is unlocked, he is available during the evening on the following days for further Confidant rankups or hangouts:
May: 8, 21, 22, 28, and 29
June: 4, 5, 6, 12, 22, 25, and 26
July: 2, 3, 6, 9, 17, 27, 30, and 31
August: 3, 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 23, 27, and 28
September: 3, 4, 20, 24, and 25
October: 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, and 30
November: 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 26, and 27
December: 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, 19, and 22
January: 14, 15, 17, 21, 22, 24, 28, 29, and 31
February: 1

After unlocking his Rank 7 Confidant, Ren must have rank 5 Guts (Lionhearted) to speak to him again.
Speaking to him again after Rank 7 will unlock the request "Shady Deal in the Shadows." To unlock his rank 8 Confidant, the Phantom Thieves must venture into Mementos and complete this request.
The rankup events for ranks 4 and 9 of his Confidant, and the hangout that unlocks "Shady Deal in the Shadows," are unavailable on evenings when the weather is Rainy or Torrential, as they take place outdoors.
