Chihaya serves as the Fortune Confidant.

Availability

Chihaya is located on the street in Shinjuku on any evening when the weather is not rainy or torrential. After her Confidant is unlocked, she will also be available during the daytime for fortune telling, though not for Confidant rankups or hangouts.

The steps to unlock her Confidant may begin as early as June 22. Ren must speak with her on three separate evenings: First to receive a fortune from her, second to buy a Holy Stone from her for 100,000 yen, and third to unlock the request "Ending the Boyfriend's Abuse." The Phantom Thieves must then venture into Mementos to complete this request.

After "Ending the Boyfriend's Abuse" has been completed, Chihaya is available for Confidant rankups and hangouts on the following days during the evening:
June: 25, 26, 28, and 30
July: 3, 5, 7, 12, 17, 19, 26, 28, 30, and 31
August: 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 23, 25, 28, and 30
September: 1, 4, 20, 27, and 29
October: 2, 4, 6, 9, 16, 23, and 30
November: 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 27, and 29
December: 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 19, and 22
January: 15, 19, 22, 24, 29, and 31
February: 1

After her rank 7 Confidant is achieved, Ren's next hangout with her will unlock the request "Debunking the Psychic!" To unlock her rank 8 Confidant, the Phantom Thieves must venture into Mementos and complete this request.
