"Changing Seasons" is a track in Persona 3 which plays in school during the second semester, and also plays in the second opening movie in the original version of Persona 3. It was composed and arranged by Shoji Meguro, featuring French vocals from a sample CD which were modulated in pitch; a chorus was added on top.[1] This track was included on Persona 3 Original Soundtrack.

A new version arranged by Atsushi Kitajo titled "Changing Seasons -Reload-" with lyrics by Jasmine Webb and vocals by Azumi Takahashi was created for Persona 3 Reload, and is included on Persona 3 Reload Original Soundtrack.

In Persona 3 Portable, it is replaced by "Sun" when playing as the female protagonist.

Trivia

  • This song was created early in development as a demo.[1]
  • Early in development, it was planned for there to be 10 field themes each with corresponding battle themes.[2] "Changing Seasons" was paired with "Master of Tartarus", where "Changing Seasons" was the field track and "Master of Tartarus" was the corresponding battle track. Therefore, they have the same BPM and key.[3]
  • Shoji Meguro considers this song to evoke the image of Persona 3's soundtrack.[1]
