Origin of Flynn in Demonic Gene and Prayers manga

I recall that the incarnations of Flynn in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Demonic Gene and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Prayers comes from the White Ending, however I cannot find a source for this. Is this actually true or is there no evidence for this?

While I'll admit it's been a few years since I've sat down to read the mangas, I do not believe this is canon. Quick google searching states that this idea was canonized by the DLC Hunter memos in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. However, this is the only mention of the White Ending and Flynn in those memos: "A fourth reality splintered off if Flynn chose to have the world obliterated by a black hole." There is the possibility that this is something exclusive to the JP script (as I've already documented some differences between the JP and EN localization), but I don't have the means to verify that at the moment, so it'd be better to leave it out for now.
