The citation policy of Megami Tensei Wiki defines how references should be cited and sourced.

Where To Add References

References should follow any stated claims on the wiki, especially those that are dubious or difficult to verify, and as such they should always be added immediately after punctuation. The exception to this is when citing a name or title, where the reference can be added immediately after the moniker.

Fan Translations

Generally quotes originating from fan translations should be avoided when referencing in favor of official localizations or the original Japanese script otherwise. However, for statements specifically about a fan translation, the transl= parameter in Cite Game should be used to clarify the quote's source. The source should be attributed to the translator's or group's name. I.e. "Tom's fan translation" or "Aeon Genesis fan translation".
