Mamoru can be found at Iwatodai Strip Mall near Wilduck Burger. Though he is also a student, Mamoru counts as a non-school related Social Link, and he will be available on holidays when the protagonist's other school friends are otherwise unavailable.

After the sports meet, Mamoru can be found in the Iwatodai Strip Mall starting on August 5th. If the protagonist has rank 4 Courage, he will be able to join Mamoru for food and begin his Social Link. Any responses given during the protagonist's first meeting will result in rank 1.
