Yo what's up my name is Green Giorno and I'm a decently large fan of Megami Tensei. I got into MegaTen in 2022 by playing the Persona games in chronological order, I have now played every mainline Persona and am working towards beating all mainline SMT games and supplementary Persona titles.
I work as the art director of graphic design at a print shop so I'm always typing things for this or that. I'd like to continue helping out more on the wiki, perhaps with graphics and logo design!? I do the same for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure independent wiki (JoJoWiki.com) so I'd like to help out best I can.
The MegaTen game that came out closest to the day I was born was Shin Megami Tensei: NINE, which released in Japan 5 days before the day I was born.

Intro
My experience with the MegaTen series goes back to a few years before I played any of these games for the first time. I first heard about the franchise through watching Nintendo Directs in 2013 and seeing SMT IV for the first time, thinking that it looked totally stupid, not knowing or caring what it was at all for years.
Six years later in 2019, my best friend had gotten into playing Persona 5 and infodumped to me the plot of pretty much the entire game, trying to get me to play it for myself. At the time I wasn't into JRPGs at all, so his words went in one ear and out the other, and besides that, I had no PlayStation systems at the time so I didn't care at all.
Three years later, I bought a PS4 off of another one of my friends, and remembering how interesting Persona sounded from my best friend, decided that Persona 5 would be one of the first games I played on this new console, and bought the base game at a GameStop for like 20$.
Interested in the game and curious as to why I should start a game series on (what I presumed to be) the fifth entry, I checked out the Megami Tensei Wiki and did some browsing on the Persona series, which sparked an interest in playing the games in chronological order. I prompted me to join a SMT Discord server and ask around for things I'd need to get started, and I eventually started playing Shin Megami Tensei: Persona in April 2022.
