Template:Delete/Documentation

Purpose

Maintenance template used to mark pages for deletion if they meet criteria and add them to Category:Pages for deletion. By adding file=1 as a parameter, the template can also be used to mark files for deletion and add them to Category:Files for deletion.

Usage

Parameter	Description
file	Must be given a value (such as "1" or "y") to display. Changes header to mark a file page for deletion.
reason	Enables a reason to be given for why the page is marked for deletion.
date	Displays the date the page was marked for deletion on.
