Fly, or Maggot, is an enemy-only demon in Devil Survivor and Devil Survivor: Overclocked.

Origin

The Fly is an original demon created for Devil Survivor, being the children of Belzaboul. It is born from egg-sacks implanted into living beings by Belzaboul or another Fly, and once hatched will feed of its host before bursting free and joining other Flies to form a swarm.

Game Appearances

Devil Survivor

Flies are summoned by Belzaboul during his boss fight. After 2 foes are defeated, Belzaboul will state that he has underestimated his opponents, and will ask his children to "greet their guests". He will then transform all remaining demons into Flies.

Trivia

• In the original Devil Survivor, the Maggots' portrait graphic used a version of Belzaboul's battle sprite. This was changed for Overclocked to use their own battle sprite.
