King is a recurring type of Shadow in the Persona series.

Kings were introduced in Persona 4. They appear as cartoon-like royalty wearing their "IV" Shadow masks as crowns, signifying they belong to the Emperor arcana.

Trivia

All of the regular King Shadows have their unique names written in hiragana to make them look cuter, such as ごーじゃすキング (Gorgeous King).^[1]
The King Shadows came from an idea to create a mascot character and the original concept was to have a pun like "Emperor" Penguin.^[1]
