Purpose
Similar to Template:JP but more generalized. Syntax is slightly different because meaning

(optional): Meaning (applied as tooltip)
For dual Simplified and Traditional Chinese:

: Romanizationmeaning
(optional): Meaning (applied as tooltip)
If you need both Chinese scripts but do not want a romanization, just put two separate ones with zh-Hans
and zh-Hant
as the language codes.
An ltc
code exists for Middle Chinese, but the regular zh
, zh-Hans
, and zh-Hant
should be used instead with standard Hanyu Pinyin unless the Middle Chinese pronunciation is specifically relevant to the article.
