World of Shadows is a location in Shin Megami Tensei V. It is an important area where the player can fuse demons or summon from the Demon Compendium. It is hosted by Sophia and can be accessed from any Leyline Fount.

The World of Shadows becomes accessible once the Nahobino reaches the Leyline Fount in Mita, where he can use Essences and acquire Miracles. After reaching the Fount in Shiba, Sophia allows him to perform Fusions.
Once the Compendium is at least 75% complete, Sophia will give the Seed of Life to the Nahobino, allowing him to initiate a route-dependent side quest.
