The Library is a recurring location in the Persona series, starting with Persona 3.
Overview
The library is found at the protagonist's school, and can be studied at to increase their Academics

Mechanics by Game
Persona 3 Reload
Studying at the library grants Academics +2.
Persona 4
Studying at the library increases Knowledge +3. In the week leading up to exams, the protagonist can also invite a party member to study in the Library, increasing how much Knowledge he gains and also giving him Social Link points.
All of the possible stat gains and points:
- Studying: +3 Knowledge
- Studying during good weather: Small chance to get +3 bonus Knowledge
- Studying during bad weather: Always gain +3 bonus Knowledge
- Exam prep with a party member: +3 Knowledge, +5 Social Link Points
Persona 4 Golden
In Golden, there is a new Book that gives additional Knowledge when studying, and the points when studying for exams have been increased.
All of the possible stat gains and points:
- Studying: +3 Knowledge
- Studying during good weather: Small chance to get +3 bonus Knowledge
- Studying during bad weather: Always gain +3 bonus Knowledge
- After finishing Expert Study Methods: Always gain +3 bonus Knowledge
- Exam prep with a party member: +4 Knowledge, +10 Social Link Points
Persona 5
In Persona 5, the library also increases the protagonist's Guts as well.
