Roland

Roland is a playable character in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2. He is the leader of the Lokapala, a resistance group fighting against the Karma Society.

Profile

As the leader of the Lokapala, Roland leads the resistance effort against the Karma Society, preventing the kidnapping of humans who would be processed into meat for Karma City's citizens. Both a heavy drinker and a capable tactician, Roland performs his role well despite his apparent depression.

Roland has an average build with broad shoulders, a long brown coat, oval-shaped glasses, and short, silvery-gray hair. His Atma Brand is the "Lightning Bolt", depicted as a toothy head with streaks of lightning on its tail. His Atma Avatar itself, Indra, is a hulking, copper-colored being somewhat resembling a suit of armor, with a gun where its right arm would be.
