"The Almighty" is a boss battle bgm used for the second boss of Magatsu Inaba during the main story of Persona 4. In the OST commentary, Shoji Meguro says the hook came to mind very easily, but the A melody (also known as the verse) was much more difficult.[1]
It is track #23 on disc 2 of the Persona 4 Original Soundtrack.

Live Appearances
- Persona Music Live 2008: "The Almighty" was performed during the 2008 live show. Compared to the original game version, the live performance version included a minute long piano intro plus a saxophone solo during the first hook.
- Persona Music Live 2009: Like the 2008 version, the 2009 live version also included a saxophone during the first hook.
