Asahi is a supporting character in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. She is a cadet in training and accompanies Nanashi in his journey throughout Tokyo.

Asahi is Nanashi's adoptive sister and childhood friend who resolutely remains at this side, even if she needs to drag him around to do things. Despite displaying an upbeat and peppy demeanor, she harbors insecurities regarding her worth and skill as an up-and-coming Hunter. Because of this, she possesses a drive to prove herself as competent, especially to her father, which leads her to jumping into situations head first and bringing Nanashi along with her.

Gameplay

Asahi is the first partner character available for use. Her skill set mainly focuses on healing spells, which increase in effectiveness as she levels up. However, this comes with some drawbacks: having the lowest HP bar of all usable partners, making her more likely to be downed if attacked or using her turn to heal herself, and a chance for her demons to ignore her commands, thus wasting her turn.
