Trivia

  • When deciding on what terrains to use for battles, Tokyu Hands was settled on due to how recognizable the area surrounding the store is.[1]
  • Eikokuji is based on the real Gokoku-ji temple, with the name changed because the team wasn't sure how people would feel about fighting in front of an actual religious center.[2]

  1. Although the Japanese script refers to the area as "in front of Tōyō Ands", the English localization uses the real store name "Tokyu Hands".
