Marie is a mysterious girl the protagonist meets when he first arrives in Inaba. He begins seeing her more once he starts visiting the [[Velvet Room]] where she takes up residence. Marie goes back and forth between being appreciative and abrasive to the protagonist. One moment she might be thanking him for taking her to eat steak skewers, while the next moment she calls him a stupid jerk. As it turns out, Marie has no memories. The protagonist can take her around Inaba, introducing her to his [[Investigation Team|friends]], trying to help her remember something about herself, and make her own new memories. Marie is also known to write poetry that reflects her mental state. Periodically, the protagonist will find one of Marie's poems on the floor of the limousine.
