Catch the [[Guardian (Fish)|Guardian]], show it to the old man at the [[Samegawa Flood Plain]], then talk to him about sea fishing. Doing so will grant the Deep-Sea Rod which can be used to fish up new fish and joke weapons at Shichiri Beach.
