Ugh, okay. So I'm making my own spreadsheet of the MT games and release dates and noticed a lot of discrepancies with the release dates of mobile games. Discrepancies between wikis, and between Japanese and English secondary sources, to be specific. One of the most infuriating thus far has to do with this game. English Wikipedia cites the release date on EZWeb rather than the initial i-Mode release date months prior (as it does for multiple of these mobile games, some of which I've fixed). However, Japanese secondary sources say it was initially supposed to be released on April 2nd, 2007, but due to some delays soon before its release, it was pushed to April 27th. However, the only primary sources I can find is a blog post of someone talking about the i-App release on April 5th with a description of it and instructions on how to install, and an announcement brief by Bbmf on March 30th 2007, which still says it would be released just 3 days later.. Further, JP Wikipedia also says the delays caused it to be released on the same day as Megami Tensei QIX Persona 3, but other sources say it was released on May 11th, not April 27th, SOMETHING THAT THE JAPANESE WIKI PAGE CORROBORATES. Needless to say, I am horribly confused, frustrated, and as uncomfortable as I am with this, the burden of proof for the postponement is on whoever is claiming it was postponed. A source from 3 days after and 3 days before saying it was/will be released on April 2nd is enough for me. --Hazelune (talk) 21:53, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
