The year is 2000. In conjunction with a worldwide economic recession, Earth is affected by a black airborne substance that has caused temperatures to plummet. [[Setsuna Kai]] and [[Mirai Kaname]], both orphans, find their home of [[Harajuku]] blanketed with snow despite it being the middle of July. | |||
