It is written in kanji as "hundreds-of-eyes oni". A female pickpocket with long, dextrous hands was transformed by the curse of the coins she stole, and this is Todomeki. The many eyes on her body were the stolen coins which stuck to her body and transformed. The reason why the eyes on Todomeki's body are said to be bird eyes is because, in the old days, coins with holes in them were called "bird eyes".
