出身地：日本 腕や身体に百の鳥の目を持つ女の妖怪。「百々目鬼」という漢字で書かれる。 長く器用な手を持った女スリ師が、盗んだ銭の祟りによって変化したのが、このトドメキである。彼女の身体にあるたくさんの目は、盗んだ銭が張り付き変化したものである。 トドメキの身体にある目が鳥の目とされたのには、昔は穴あき銭を「鳥目」と呼んでいたという経緯がある。 Translation: Place of origin: Japan A female yōkai with a hundred bird eyes on her arms and body. It is written in kanji as "hundreds-of-eyes oni". A female pickpocket with long, dextrous hands was transformed by the curse of the coins she stole, and this is Todomeki. The many eyes on her body were the stolen coins which stuck to her body and transformed. The reason why the eyes on Todomeki's body are said to be bird eyes is because, in the old days, coins with holes in them were called "bird eyes".
