Shin Megami Tensei (A-Mode DDS)	Origin: India - An Asura she-demon. She lived in the forest near the intersection of the Ganges and Sarayu Rivers. She terrorized nearby villages before being slain by Rama and Lakshmana.
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne	A female Vetala in Hindu mythology. In the Ramayana, Rama managed to cut off her arms, and even though she turned invisible, he was able to slay her.
Shin Megami Tensei IV	A female Rakshasa in Hindu myth. Also known as Takata. She lived in a forest named after her and would wreak havoc, eating anyone who set foot in her forest. She was eventually killed by Rama.

Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine	インド神話。ダイティヤ（悪鬼）の女性を指す。悪魔スンダの娘という説と、ヤクシャのスケートゥの娘と言う説がある。ターラカは高名な聖仙アガスティヤの怒りに触れ、ラクシャシー(羅刹女)に姿を変えられた。ガンジス川の流域の森に住み、周辺を荒らしまわっていたところを、聖仙ヴィシュバーミトラの命により英雄ラーマによって射殺された。 Translation: Indian mythology. Refers to a Daitya (evil demon) woman. Some say she was the daughter of the demon Sunda, others say she was the daughter of Sketu, a yaksha. Taraka incurred the wrath of the renowned sage Agastya and was transformed into a Rakshasi (Rajasthani woman). She lived in the forests in the basin of the Ganges River and was shot dead by the hero Rama at the order of the holy hermit Vishvamitra when she was ravaging the surrounding area.
