Their wings, claws, and bears were made of bronze, and they used these to attack people and livestock.<br>Heracles' extermination of these bird monsters was done as the sixth of his twelve labors. He was rewarded a cymbal from the goddess Pallas Athena for chasing the bird monsters into the sky and shooting them down one by one with arrows.}}
